We did not formulate this.
We are not a lab. We tried a run of creams meant to sit under the device, kept using this one, and put it into KiRei packaging rather than pretending we invented the formula.
That is also why it is not priced like a luxury eye cream. It is a good water-based cream with a cooling roller, and that is all we are claiming for it.
If you would rather use a cream you already own, do. The only thing that matters for the device is that whatever goes on is water based and still damp ten minutes later.

The point of all this
On dry skin the pulses feel like almost nothing, so people turn the intensity up and still feel almost nothing. A damp layer fixes that. It is the single most common reason someone says the device does not work for them.

Why these two
The electrical pulses need a damp surface to spread evenly across the skin. On dry skin you feel almost nothing, turn it up, and still feel almost nothing.

Do I need this to use the device?
No. You need something damp under the pads. Water works, this works better because it stays put for the full session. Any water-based eye cream will do the same job.
Did you make the formula?
No. We source it, we tested it against the alternatives, and it ships in KiRei packaging. We are claiming we picked it well, not that we invented it.
How big is it?
17 ml, which is 0.57 fl oz. Used once a day under both eyes, most people get a couple of months out of a tube.
What is actually in it?
Aqua, hyaluronic acid, snail secretion filtrate, hydrolyzed collagen and acetyl hexapeptide-8, per the maker's panel. The carton also lists niacinamide.
Is it safe around the eyes?
It is an eye cream, so it is made for that area, but keep it out of your actual eyes. Patch test on your inner arm first if your skin reacts easily.
Is it vegan?
No. Snail secretion filtrate is an animal-derived ingredient.

Will it fix dark circles or eye bags?
It is a cosmetic. It hydrates, it sits on the surface, and hydrated skin creases less and catches light better. It will not change pigment or move a fat pad, and we are not going to tell you it will.
